Clopton Represents Jimtown at Moose Krause Event

Jackson Clopton received the Moose Krause Scholar Athlete Award Wednesday Night. He is the son of Casey and Kim Clopton. Jackson was a split end and defensive back for the Jimmies. He was also a member of the basketball team for four years and track team for three years. His 4.06 GPA ranks him 5th in his class. He is a member of the National Honors Society, a Jimtown elementary and basketball mentor, and a volunteer in the K-6 basketball league. His community involvement includes volunteering for Feed the Starving Children, cleaning military headstones at Rice Cemetery, and volunteering in a retirement home. He was an All-Conference, All Region, and Gold Standard Award winner in football and Mental Attitude Award winner in Track. Jackson has recently decided to go to DePauw University to play basketball and football. He will study business.
