Jimmies News · Jimtown’s Harkins will Enter Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame

The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle, Indiana exists to honor only those standout boys and girls basketball players whose high school careers have been the best in the State of Indiana.  While she has only been a Jimmie for less than a full year, we are very proud to announce that our new Girls Basketball coach at Jimtown, Alicia Harkins has been named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame “Silver Anniversary Team”.   Coach Harkins will enter the hall of fame as a player 25 years ago with the Penn Lady Kingsmen.   Coach Harkins went on to play college basketball at Southern Illinois University where she is currently 10th overall as a scorer in their school’s history.
