Last night, Jimtown celebrated the success of the past winter season. Our winter All Conference Academic Athletes: INSC All - Academic team - Juniors and Seniors only - must have a GPA of 3.5 Colten Allen, Alex Bohlmann, Emiliano Briones, Carmen Stone, Isabella Kulakowski, Chloe McMullin, Cayden Roberts, Jasiah Payne, Aden Hartman, Lily Steele, Lily Gaugler, Kiera Jackson, Ethan Creech, Will Spurgeon All Conference Honors in INSC Basketball - Kiera Jackson and Lily Gaugler HM Basketball - Will Spurgeon, Dominic Fey, Jackson Woolwine, Zander Whitaker Wrestling - Aden Hartman, Blake Roberts, Jasiah Payne, and Cayden Roberts Swimming - Alexander Hoogenboom - 200IM and 100 backstroke, Alex Bohlmann 500 free, and 100 breaststroke Kiwanis Student-Athletes of the Winter Will Spurgeon - Basketball Alex Bohlmann - Swimming Carmen Stone - Swimming Kiera Jackson - Basketball Highest Team GPA Award Winners Kiera Jackson - Girls' Basketball Zachary Seger - Boys' Basketball Chloe McMullin and Carmen Stone - Girls' Swim Colten Allen - Boys' Swim Aden Hartman - Boys' Wrestling Sophia Carper - Girls' Wrestling 107 (92 last year) total students were on athletic rosters for the Winter of 2025/2026 61 out of 107 (53 out of 92 last year)made honor roll this past grading period The average GPA of all 107 students who participated in athletics this winter: 3.2 The average GPA of all students at Jimtown: 3.0 The average GPA of students who did not participate in a Winter sport: 2.9 Big difference and you can see the drop when the athletes are taken out of the equation - athletes add 2 tenths in just the first semester to the student GPA and is 3 tenths higher than the school average.
