Jimtown High School

Both the boys and the girls had a great showing for ourselves at Sectionals. Although we did not perform the best in the team settings we were able to advance 3 runners Simon Steven, Cami Schwartz, and Macie LaFree. Out of our 12 runners between the boys and girls combined 8 of them had a PR in this race showing their constant improvement. Sadly we will be seeing 3 seniors that will be leaving us when season wraps up. Micah Colburn, Emiliano Briones, and Macie LaFree will all be missed. Boys: Led again by Simon Steven with a PR time of 17:29 finishing 27th overall and advancing as an individual to regionals. Owen Marnell, Hunter Adams, Corbin Hanna, and Emiliano Briones all ended their season with their best time of the year. Girls: Cami Schwartz was our front runner again with a time of 20:39 finishing 18th overall. Senior Macie Lafree was not far behind with a big PR taking over a minute off her previous best with a time of 21:28 finishing 26th overall and both of these ladies are punching their tickets to Regionals. Makayla Dooley and Bree Curtis also ended their season with their best times of the year.
