Jimtown High School

Jimtown High School is excited to announce, pending board approval at the June 9th school board meeting, the hiring of Ryan Varga as its new head varsity boys’ basketball coach. Coach Varga has been the head coach at South Bend Washington for the last 7 years. He has directed the Panthers to a record of 109-84 during that span that includes a 2023 3a Sectional Championship and a 2023 NIC Championship. In addition to coaching, Ryan holds a Master’s in Special Education degree and plans to join the faculty of Jimtown High School as a special education teacher. Ryan is married to Maggie and they have two children Ray and Reese who will enroll at Jimtown in the fall.
