Fall 2025 Awards Banquet

The Fall Awards Banquet took place last night at Jimtown High School. There was a lot of success to celebrate. The Boys Tennis team had a winning season along with 4 ALL-Conference selections. The Girls soccer team had another winning season making it to the sectional championship before falling to the eventual State Champions. Volleyball celebrated a second straight sectional championship. Cross Country had three runners advanced to Regional. The Girls Golf team had three more wins this year than the last three years combined. Volleyball: 27 students on the roster 25 out of 27 made honor roll Average GPA: 3.677 Highest GPA on the team: Baylea Creech 4.33 Honorable Mention: Lyric Zartman, Isla Griffee, Claudia Henry Morales, Nadia Urban, Clara Jackson, Emma Young, Jayla Armstrong, Brooklyn Gillespie with all at or above 4.0. 161 (150 last year) total students were on athletic rosters for the Fall of 2025 132 out of 161 (117 out of 150 last year)made honor roll this past grading period The average GPA of all 161 students who participated in athletics this spring: 3.53 The average GPA of all students at Jimtown: 3.19 The average GPA of students who did not participate in a Fall sport: 2.85 Big difference and you can see the drop when the athletes are taken out of the equation - athletes add 2 tenths in just these 9 weeks to the student GPA and is 4 tenths higher than the school average.
