The Jimmies (5-4) picked up a big conference win over South Bend Riley on Monday Night 10-5. It was a back and forth game until the Jims exploded in the top of the 7th inning.

The big hit on Monday night came off the bat of Jr. Hunter Konrath who came up with his first career homerun that plated 3 Jimmies. Jimtown would add 2 more runs that inning to seal the deal. Jr. Nick Carithers was 3-4 at the plate and Jr. Tysen House was 2-3 with 3 RBI’s.

Sr. Braden Garner (1-2) nearly went the distance going to 6 and 1/3 innings before reaching his pitch count max. Braden did an outstanding job battling in the game to earn his first victory on the bump this season.

Jimtown will be back in action on Wednesday as they play host to rival Bremen at 5 PM at beautiful Booster Field. We hope to see you out there as we honor our 2021 Seniors!
