The Jimmies stayed scrappy till the 21st out of the ball game last night but fell short of Northwood 8-6. The Jimmies got on the board early when Ethan Allen went deep in the second inning to tie the game at 1. Northwood came out swinging in the 4th inning scoring 5 in the inning to create a cushioned lead of 8-1. Trevor Bottom entered the game late in the 4th to close the inning and pitch 2 1/3rd scoreless innings to keep the Jimmies in the game. In the top of the 7th Jimtown went on a 2 out rally scoring 4 runs with 2 outs before coming up just short of Northwood. After a tough week of games, Jimtown will look to get better at practice over the weekend and will return to NIC action on Monday @ School Field verse SB Adams.
